Webinar: Attending a Genealogy Conference

"I want to attend every session!"
"How can I choose between concurrent sessions?"

If these are familiar refrains to you, then HELP IS ON THE WAY!

The webinar "Getting the Most Out of a Genealogy Conference" conducted by George C. Morgan is now available for viewing online. The Southern California Genealogical Society Jamboree in
conjunction with RootsTelevision hosted the webinar on March 27, 2010. While the 90 minute session uses Jamboree examples, George's points and suggestions are useful for attending any genealogy conference, including Family History Day 2010 at the California State Archives. The last 30 minutes of the video is a Q and A session that pertains mostly to the Jamboree. Click here, select the "Getting the Most" video and sit back and enjoy the presentation.

  1. This is so timely. I finally got a few minutes early this morning to listen to the Webinar. It was actually very helpful and not terribly long either. Alot of common sense, but sometimes we over look the obvious. Good Job.
